Emerald
Necklace Winnies is a club located in the Greater Cleveland area. We have approximately 35 families in the
club, and we celebrated our 35th anniversary in 2009. We have an average of 15 coaches at
campouts.
Our
campouts are on the second weekend of the month starting in April and finishing
in November followed by a Christmas party.
Co-hosts prepare Saturday dinners for the
group.
This
year, we designed and built a cardboard boat racing boat and won all three
races. Next year, we will defend
our title as well as travel to Marietta to attend a steamboat festival. In November we mutually prepare a
Thanksgiving dinner, watch football games and enjoy several crafts at a
campground.
